The first time I put on a Santa suit was for pictures with my granddaughter before her first birthday. My suit was a cheap one bought in a clearance sale. It would do for the photo shoot and then would probably be put away — never to be worn again. Or so I thought. When time came for the photo shoot, she climbed up in my lap and it happened. She looked up and her mouth and eyes opened wide. It didn't matter about the cost of the suit or what the surroundings were. The magic of Santa had arrived. From that moment I was hooked.

Christmas is a time of giving and sharing. The original St. Nicholas demonstrated this through his giving. He gave to those in need and did so secretly. Nicholas’ Christian upbringing and belief in Jesus led him to start this ministry. His love and caring influenced others and the legacy continues. Being a Santa allows me to help bring out the child in both young and old. I have the honor of meeting children of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances in life and create those magical moments that will last a lifetime by sharing the gift of our Father with all.
